IPTV on LG Smart TV (webOS)
Smart IPTV and IBO Player for LG webOS TVs, including recent OLED and QNED models.
LG TVs run webOS. Native players such as Smart IPTV (SIPTV) and IBO Player are available in the LG Content Store and are what we recommend. Like Samsung, setup is by device ID or MAC address, so you do not retype credentials.
LG's panels (OLED especially) are excellent for 4K sports and movies, so it is worth wiring the TV with Ethernet if you can.
Steps
- 1
Open the LG Content Store
Press Home and open LG Content Store, then search “Smart IPTV” or “IBO Player”.
- 2

Tips for a smooth picture
- Use Ethernet for 4K if you can.
- Pick a Cinema or Sports picture mode for the best look.
- If the store lacks the app, use an HDMI stick as a fallback.
Recommended apps
Smart IPTV (SIPTV)
The standard app for Samsung and LG TVs, with a one-time MAC address registration.
